Crystal healing is the use of semi-precious stones and crystals to boost low energy, prevent bad energy, release blocked energy and help align chakras. It can be traced back as far as 6,000 years ago in Mesopotamia. Crystals are stones with physical characteristics, such as a specific formation or ordering of atoms, that affect light refraction and electrical charges.
Crystal healing emphasizes these qualities and how they might affect the human body’s vibration, electrical charge and functionality. The vibrations and frequencies can also be understood as qi, or vital energy that makes up any living entity.
